Our client is a successful national Systems Integrator and Managed Services Provider with a proven track record in delivering ICT solutions to corporate, defence, and government organisations that spans more than twenty years.  There is now an exciting opportunity in Sydney to join this dynamic and energised company that is experiencing positive growth.     

The Role

This role is suitable for a Sales Executive who has a background in IT sales who is looking for the next step into enterprise sales. You will capitalise on the existing successes to actively pursue new business with managed services offerings within key specialist segments of Government and the Corporate Sector. Reporting to the Queensland General Manager you will have overall accountability for driving new business across a corporate customer base in Sydney.

Position description:

  • Identify & engage with potential clients to acquire new Managed Services annuity or outsource contracts
  • Navigate complex sales cycles and bid processes
  • Focus on positioning our various ‘aaS’ capabilities, ServiceDesk, SOC, NOC, Security, Cloud, on-site and remote support services

 Ideal candidates will have:

  • A proven successful sales track record in selling complex Managed Services
  • 10-15 years’ professional sales experience in systems integrator or MSP with demonstrated references and experience
  • A comprehensive understanding of all facets of Managed Services solutions and the value they represent in the Enterprise
  • Strong business and commercial acumen as well as analytical skills
  • Excellent communication skills – presentation, negotiation and written

Other skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree from college or university preferred
  • Proven track record of consistently exceeding sales targets
  • Highly motivated and results-oriented
